I was reading through my e-mail this morning and I came across this New Year's Prayer by W.R. Hunt. I pray that it speaks to you the way it did me. Oh that I could live this prayer each day of the coming year.
"A Morning Wish". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . W.R. Hunt
"The sun is just rising on the morning of another day, the first day of the new year. What can I wish that this day, that this year, may bring to me?
Nothing that shall make the world of others poorer, nothing at the expense of others; but just those few things which in their coming do not stop with me but touch me rather, as they pass and gather strength:
* A few friends who understand me, and yet remain my friends.
* A work to do which has real value without which the world would feel the poorer.
* A return for such work small enough not to tax unduly anyone who pays.
* A mind unafraid to travel, even though the trail be not blazed.
* A sight of the eternal hills and unbelting sea, and of something beautiful the individual hand has made.
* A sense of humor and the power to laugh.
* A little leisure with nothing to do.
* A few moments of quiet, silent meditation. The sense of the presence of God.
* And the patience to wait for the coming of these things, with the wisdom to know them when they come."
May you have a blessed New Year!

Christmas Eve
As we come together this Christmas Eve we'll be celebrating our Amazing Counselor, Strong God, Eternal Father and Prince of Wholeness on Wednesday evening and I hope that you can come as we celebrate the birth of our new born King together.
Services will be held at 7:00pm. Come - bring a friend, bring family - as we adore God in flesh and love like it has never been seen on this earth. If you are traveling, then we will miss you, but hope to see you again next weekend as we continue to gather and worship our Lord and Savior.
For a child has been born-for us! The gift of a son-for us!He'll take over the running of the world. His names will be: Amazing Counselor, Strong God,Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness. His ruling authority will grow, and there'll be no limits to the wholeness he brings. - Isaiah 9:6 (MSG)
A child was born, His name was Jesus. He came because of me - He came for me. God with us.
Merry CHRISTmas
Blessings

Celebrating Thanksgiving
During our thanksgiving eve service we had you and your kids draw and write down what you were thankful for on the table. This video is a mash-up of all the things that the A-town Crew is thankful for.

A-Town!
It's Pastor Kevin and I wanted to thank you for all the support and attention this weekend.
Over on my blog I posted a synopsis of teaching at every campus. You might want to check it out to see how I feel about the Ashland Campus and see if you ended up on YouTube. :)
Have a great Christmas and remember what you really need this Christmas.
Grace and Peace,
Kevin Rush

Angel Tree & Mitten Tree
A BIG SHOUT OUT to the Ashland peeps for an OVERWHELMING response of giving during this holiday season. We had over 80 tags taken for the Angel Tree this month.
Also the Hat & Mitten tree was filled with items to help keep those in need warm this winter.
Many families will be blessed this Christmas because of each and every one of you.
It is truly a BLESSING to be a part of such a GIVING and CARING group of people.
Thanks for investing in other peoples lives each and every day.
Blessings,
Pastor Bud

Bagging Hunger - Thank You
I wanted to say Thank You for giving of your Treasures for our last KIA event...Bagging Hunger. It was a HUGE success thanks to ALL.
We collected 40 bags of food to distribute through various charities. And we were able to provide meals for 21 families at Thanksgiving who otherwise might not have had any.
It's because of our investment of Time/Talent/Treasures that we are able to be the Church reaching out to ALL.
